JOLANTA KOSZELEW
I have prepared, carry out, and managed R&D and education projects which were financed by the National Centre for Research and Development in Poland and the European Commission. I have participated in the process of R&D team building and I have a lot of experience in cooperation with R&D teams. On behalf of clients, I obtained 12 mln EUR of financing. I cooperate with universities, incubators, startups and investment funds as a coach, business coach, mentor and technology broker in the area of research and development projects and academic entrepreneurship. I am the vicepresident of the Top 500 Innovators Association in Poland.
PIOTR WOŁEJSZA
From 2013, I have been managing a technological company developing an R&D project based on my PhD dissertation. Currently, I am in the process of executing the fourth project subsidised with EU funds. I obtained over PLN 3 million in total for this start-up, including from the SME Instrument Horizon 2020 programme. I conducted over 200 hours of training courses, classes, workshops, mentoring and coaching sessions regarding Business Development and R&D. I am in the course of executing and managing already the second international project, which aims at developing, testing and implementing effective methods of education, coaching and mentoring of teams carrying out business projects. I helped with building four project consortiums and three R&D teams.
WOJCIECH PRZYGOCKI
I have been active in the venture capital market for several years now. I completed more than ten investment processes including exits to industry investors. I source innovative solutions and start-ups, follow trends, technologies and make investments. I cooperate with Polish universities in the scope of commercialising scientific solutions. I evidence in practice, that it is possible to make money on science. Previously, I co-created the InQbator and a seed fund at the Poznan Science and Technology Park. I am a manager of programmes for supporting entrepreneurship, including Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, “Idea for Business”, which received an award from the Ministry of Regional Development in 2009 for the Best Investment in a Human. I am a graduate of the Top 500 Innovators programme at Stanford University as well as Master’s studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Faculty of Political Science, majoring in European Administration.
WOJCIECH ŁAGUNA
I lead and manage data science projects. I have been associated with companies where IT products were based on natural language processing algorithms, in particular, deep learning. I am a Ph.D. Student at the Białystok University of Technology. I analyze the medical data and build predictive and diagnostic models using Bayesian Networks and Decision Trees. Additionally, I am an expert in the area of analysis, classification, and detection of anomalies in time series. I put a lot of emphasis on visualization and understanding of the problem. I take care of good practices in IT product development, and I am the guardian of the repeatability of scientific experiments.
